Our Activities and Projects to
Date
Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries (PBB Ministries) is a Christian
based non-profit making organization. PBB Ministries' vision
is to see a transformed nation through fervent prayers. Philippians
4:6-7, John 14:13-14, Colossians 4:2, 2Chronicles 7:14. PBB
Ministries commits itself to furthering the true Worship of
Almighty God beyond all boundaries and among all nations. Towards
achieving the above, PBB Ministries is involved in the following
activities among others.
~Starting
At the Home Front~
Each member of PBB Ministries is committed to sacrificially
and sensitively spread the word of God through 'Word and Deed'
to all people around them.
Wa Ngunjiri on an outing with her son and daughter. A great
emphasis is made on the need to have family prayers and bible
reading session and making parents and guardians aware that
it is one of the greatest gifts they can offer their children.
It is a fact that families that have structured fellowships
generally raise more morally upright children which is good
for the society though never to be taken as a substitute for
salvation.
Pro 22:6~Teach your children right from wrong, and when they
are grown they will still do right.
~Winning Souls For Christ~
We organize prayer meetings in different parts of the country.
This year alone, over 200 hundred people have given their lives
to Jesus.
~More Miracles Away After Home~
Lucy together with her husband and a worship team of ten other
often travel to different parts of Kenya. They hold crusades,
meeting. The alter call marks the climax of each fellowship.
PBB Ministries sincerely thanks God for continually using them
in performing what is truly the greatest miracle of all; people
accepting Christ as their personal Savior. Occasionally healing
miracles among others are graciously granted by God. PBB Ministries
also appreciates the fact that ministering God's Word works
in the people's hearts what God intends; miraculous deed as
declared by God himself.
Isa 55:10-11~"Rain and snow fall from the sky. But they
don't return without watering the earth that produces seeds
to plant and grain to eat. That's how it is with my words. They
don't return to me without doing everything I send them to do."
~Chariots for the Church
-- Mobility for the Disabled~PBB Ministries donate bicycles
to pastors in rural areas. This goes a long way in improving
the mobility of pastors for God's Work. Some pastors in parts
of Kenya have to walk for miles to their churches and the bicycles
are of great help to their work.
Wa Ngunjiri on an evangelistic meeting in Kerugoya where bicycles
were donated to pastors. In june last year (2007), Lucy with
generous contributions from Dr. Peninah Nagi of Hands of Hope
international, Apostle David Karanja of Christ Harvesters ministries
and Kameme FM listeners, donated over 625 bicycles and to pastors
who walk over 10 kilometers to carry out God's in various parts
of Kenya mainly in rural. We also donate wheelchairs to disabled
people. The bicycle and wheelchair donations will be one of
the major charity activities undertaken by PBB Ministries in
the future.
Wa Ngunjiri and Nairobi Parklands Rotary Club members donate
a wheelchair. It is our prayers that by God’s grace the
charity work as part of the grater objective of honoring God
will grow to benefit thousands of needy and deserving churches
and people. We look forward to a time when pastors and other
people working for Christian churches will not fail to deliver
the Word of God effectively for lack of transport means. It
will be a time when most disabled people will also have what
is now a great privilege to them, mobility at will. May God
bless all those who have contributed to this great achievement?
~Monthly at St. Andrews~Every 3rd Sunday of every month at 3.00pm
to 6.00pm, PBB Ministries meets at St. Andrews PCEA Church in
Nairobi for intercessory prayers and Worship. Like all our other
prayer and worship meeting the fellowship is open. We encouraged
you all to attend. ~Out of Town Once More~ Every second and
third weekend of every month, we go out of town for prayer meetings
and 'bicycles donation ministry'.
~Answering the Distress Call~
Wa Ngunjiri donating food to IDPs in Nakuru ASK Show Ground
camp earlier this year. Kenya was experienced an outbreak of
violence on the final day of last year after the national civic,
parliamentary and presidential elections. The violence continued
till early this year. At one point, the clashes that broke up
in Nairobi early this year, found PBB Ministries meetings in
progress and we are now praising God for answering our prayers.
The violence has now subsided and the internally displaced people
(IDPs) are settling back on their farms to rebuild their homes
and 'start a new life'. In response to the crisis, Lucy as part
of PBB Ministries has been organizing prayer meetings with the
internally displaced people (IDPs) in different parts of the
country and donated food and clothing. We have been following
up on some of the IDPs and have helped to resettle some, buy
them items necessary to start their lives again. We also pray
for them and encourage them to forgive.
Mat 25:35~ When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat,
and when I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When
I was a stranger, you welcomed me,
~Beyond Ordinary Garments~
On one of her gospel programs that Lucy hosts every Sunday morning
on Kameme FM, Lucy highlighted the usually avoided issue of
dire need of undergarments and sanitary towel the IDPs faced.
Wa Ngunjiri donating undergarments to IDPs in Kirathimo in Limuru
earlier this year This is a topic many people in many cultures
shy from. In response her radio listeners donated were over
10,000 items. This included under-garments for all sexes and
ages, as well as sanitary towels for women and girls. ~Receiving
All with Thanksgiving~ PBB Ministries thanks God and all those
who contribute to it materially, spiritually, and professionally.
We will continually pray for God's blessings upon you for you
contribution.
